It started as a Telegram bot for driving Claude Code on a home machine from a phone. The interesting problem turned out not to be sending prompts remotely, but what happens after the code is generated: hosting it, keeping it alive, and coming back days later to change it. So it grew into a platform where every app gets a persistent agent with its own workspace, memory, and deploy pipeline. Built by a solo founder, and VibeKit's own operations (SEO, monitoring, support tooling) are run by the same kind of agent loops it sells.
TypeScript and Node.js backend, Postgres (Supabase), apps run in isolated containers on AWS Fargate with EFS-backed workspaces behind nginx, native SwiftUI iOS app, Claude and OpenAI models (BYOK direct or via OpenRouter), and an MCP server (vibekit-mcp) so any MCP client can drive the platform.
