Under our People First corporate
philosophy, we at Samsung
 Electronics strive to reflect our
respect for human rights,
diversity and
 inclusion into
every aspect of our daily
operations.

						We are constantly improving the
safety of our work environment
and
fostering a strong corporate
culture that supports and
encourages
 personal growth.
Because human rights are
fundamental rights
Human rights are universal freedoms we all share.
In our values and business activities, Samsung Electronics strives
to embody the fundamental principle that human rights apply to everyone.
Samsung Electronics Global Human Rights
Principles (the policy)
formalizes our
commitment to respect all human rights and
labor
standards which are reflected in
international principles and
standards. We are committed to preventing human rights violations
against those potentially affected by our global operations and
promptly provide effective remedies if any harm occurs.
This policy applies worldwide to Samsung
and to all its entities
including our own
factories and other subsidiaries, all its
permanent
employees and contingent
workers, our products and services as well
as
our business relationships including our
supply chain, third-party
contractors and
subcontractors, partners, resellers and other
relevant
stakeholders including our
customers, product end-users
and
communities. We closely monitor and
manage our salient human
rights risks of
our business operations and transparently
share our
findings.

To uphold the highest standards of respect for human rights,
we have created and implemented a framework called the Samsung Electronics Human Rights Framework.
Based on the internationally recognized UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs),
our human rights framework is comprised of policy, due diligence, remedial action, transparent disclosure, stakeholder communication, and governance.

Each business division operates its own safety and health management system and continuously identifies and evaluates potential risks.
The head of our Global Environmental Health and Safety(EHS) Office in DX Division and the head of the Global Manufacturing & Infrastructure Department in DS Division act as Chief Safety Officers to secure the safety and health of our employees.
Better workplace, better life
							We are committed to building
a corporate culture where employees
can grow and engage voluntarily
based on diversity and inclusion.

Because we support the growth of
our employees
We operate programs to nurture creative and challenge-seeking talent and to strengthen leadership and professionalism.
As part of these activities, we conduct a systematic leadership diagnosis for employees in leadership positions every year,
and support leadership training based on the diagnosis results.
