[SPOILER] Click here to see my commentary for this page!
My comment for this page from Gaia: sic mundus creatus est:The selection of the minor characters for such a group picture is always a bit arbitrary. Notable omissions are Amos, Aolilatse, Frederick, Hilajon and Reginar. But you have to make the cut somewhere.

And scene! It’s been a great ride, a good story, and perfect art. Gaia was a solid graphic novel and is a bit under appreciated. The production team has it’s own stories about the printing effort of the physical books when it was first completed.
Once again, a great ride. Even with the creator notes keep finding some moments a bit disappointing or too “happy world” but I had to re-read all the comic.
This is always fascinating to see the last and first page of this (and other) webcomics and see how the style evolved, makes me ask “when it happened? Why I didn’t notice?”.
so will it be possible re buy hardcover versions fo the book?
Yippee! We’re here!! Again!
I love this ending shot but the thing funniest to me will always be the inclusion of Ars. The meta reason he’s here, I assume, is because readers (and maybe Novil) loved him and missed him and it was time to honor his brief legacy in the comic at the very end.
The Watsonian reasoning, I can only guess, is that Ars was so beloved by the original main 5 that Ilias would have wanted Ars to be there in his wedding day. I mean, it’s not that weird, I’m sure more people than not have a teacher they’d gladly invite to such a celebration, but I do think it’s just. A little amusing that he died in chapter 1, I believe was last mentioned in chapter 2, and now, at the very end, we must all take another moment of silence for Ars.
What an exceptional story. Will there be a print edition? Or downloadable file?
@ Classic Dad:
There was both when the comic reached this point for the first time.
@ Puyon:
The Tower In The Sky 031 was a memorable page.
Thank you Novil – that was, again, an exceptional ride through a great story.
Well done! Outstanding work! Thank you for this story, it was a fun ride.
Well, that was awesome. Started reading about halfway through the first run, and now been all the way through this second run, and about all I can say is “where can I buy a hardcopy?” Although I’m inclined to look into getting the pdf. I think we can get that via patreon or something?
Kind of sad to see the shadowdancer hideout get destroyed, and I wish there was more of Eldor’s end shown, but in any case, it’s been a great read, and I’m sad to have reached the end again. Thank you for reposting it!
Now, we have reached the end again. Having bought the books during the last Kickstarter, I have to wonder, will this run have a couple extra pages tacked on? Or are you now buckling down on Scarlet?
@ Zitchas:
You might find them second hand online, but there were hardcover copies made for a Kickstarter a couple years ago. I bought them then, and it was divided into two hardcover books for Gaia, a third hardcover book filled with script elements of the comic, and concept art. That book was called Gaia: sic mundus creatus est. The Kickstarter also had a hardcover book for SandraandWoo, and digital PDFs of the comics. Perhaps he will run another Kickstarter round for the hardcover books, but the last time was pretty time consuming for him, due to some SNAFU with the original fulfillment contractors hired to deliver the books. Nothing that was his fault, of course, but that must have been stressful to have those delays for the last Kickstarter. You’ll probably want to download the PDFs, and wait patiently for the next round, if forthcoming…
While the whole story felt stretched at places, the ending felt rushed, same for the ‘final boss fight’, and many things didn’t get explained properly (like why Gaia is a single planet in nothingness, why space is filled with air, why we have daylight without a sun, and several more). All in all, similar to most japanese manga, who also make readers buy it mostly because they hope for answers at the end, but get disappointed. Oh well, maybe now there’s more time for Sandra and Woo, or Scarlet.
And here it is again. The end. I feel…sad about it ending once more, though I knew what was coming. I had this page in my mind from the moment I reread the first page, after all.
Stupid question, but can someone give me a rundown of who all is here? I recognize the main characters but I’ve lost a lot of the others over time.
Feels so strange to be here again… checking on this comic has become such a daily habit for me that it is almost instinctive. Not sure what I’ll do now heh! Been an amazing journey though!
Why is it 024 and 025?
I only see one set.

Same here.
Thanks for the great ride, Novil and Powree.
@ Aminity:
Left Side ist 24 right Side ist 25!
It was a very nice run, i enjoyed the Gaia series! (Thank you!)
And I wonder what’s next…
Will there be a Gaia 2 or will there be another series?
I guess Scarlet will have more focus, but will that be the only one?

Check the “Cast” page for short descriptions and first appearance page numbers.
@ Aminity:
It’s a double-side image, so it counts as two pages. In the printed version it would span from the left page over to the right page when open at that spot, with the crease down the middle.
Just as enjoyable the second reading.
I’d thought through the main of this story there were some decidedly odd worldbuilding choices… but all in all I enjoyed the read. Some good art and some funny moments.
@Novil:
This was nostalgic and fun!
Any plans on doing a rerun of Sandra & Woo in the same manner?
I for one would enjoy that!
