I use this on my media mat, but I also love using it when I craft elsewhere. It peels up and is so nice that it doesn't move around. This replaces the one I got with my media mat, I abused my original one, i not sure how i got holes in it. But I use it until it was curling and wouldn't wash flat. I had to use masking tape to keep the corners down from so much use. Now I know how to care for my mat batter. But these Mats are AWESOME!
The tonic Glass Mat from a diff vendor was waylaid as I had an upcoming class . I tried to doctor up a few ideas the night before .. then can came the ah-ha moment and remembering I had received the extra mat I used this mat on my work table and it was the perfect size for the lesson taught. What a lifesaver and even after a 6 hour class with inks .. this little guy wiped right up and literally looks brand new!!
I haven't used this item, of course, since my Glass Media Mat is brand new. But, when the Non-Stick Mat Replacement is worn out, I will have a replacement ready on-hand so I don't have to wait for it to arrive before I can use it !!
When I don't want to move everything I use the replacement mat to work on it. Easy to use fast clean up and I do not use my alcohol inks on this mat. But I do use my alcohol inks on the glass part of the mat and it's great.
I like that is stays in one place and wipes up nicely. The tip about using hand sanitizer is really nice
I very pleased with this mat. I do not have the Tim Holtz glass mat but I do have a glass over my cutting mat and I placed this non stick mat in one corner where I can glue or colour and it is perfect. No sticky messes on my glass mat and it cleans up just great, love it.
I like that it has sticky on the back so that it stays put on the glass mat
So glad Tonic made a replacement mat. My cat chewed up the one that came with the media mat within the first week. Great prices and fast shipment
I had the 1st (brown) non stick mat and simply loved it. Then I purchased the Glass Media Mat by Tim Holtz and it came with the non stick mat.👍
After using it a while and watching Tim Holtz's demo of different ways to use the Glass Media mat and the non stick mat, I knew I had to have a 2nd (back up) mat.
I just did not want to be without one, if anything happened to the original.😅 Yes, it's that valuable to me!🤗
If you don't have this mat, it is a MUST HAVE👍. NOTHING STICKS to it. At least I haven't found anything yet.😉. Also, I had purchased the Memory Keepers glass mat, and the non stick mat works well with that, too. (Sometimes my boyfriend's granddaughter makes cards with me). Then I let her use the Memory keepers glass mat with my non stick mat.
I was planning to take it on trips with me, but since the Tim Holtz travel glass mat came available, I decided to get that instead. I love, love that one!👍👍
You will want to keep one of these non stick mats for a back up, you'll be glad you did.
