You must take off the backing paper. I think the negative review claiming it isn’t sticky hasn’t taken the backing off. This product is unlike normal washi in the aspect. It’s very sticky. I wish they would come out with packs that are all birthday, all sympathy, thank you, etc, instead of all sentiments in one color. I’m burning through my birthday washi. Wonderful product. Very useful. Easier than trying to heat emboss on vellum.
These are using the name washi but are not sticky so you get 4 rolls of vellum you now get to attach somehow to your project. Worst purchase I have made on scrapbook not even at $20 is it worth it.
