So this color is a dark deep grey with like a smooth plum-like purple that has a violet shine to it. There is so much fine sparkle reflecting from this, it's gorgeous! I tried experimenting various ways and even worried about the water ruining the sparkle because I added a huge glob! (I was afraid because I've never used it before so I didn't know what to expect; also I did it on a very thin drawing paper to test it) it came out just fine, and this was with the paper towel soaking it up most of it without patting it down. My favorite color so far. Silvery grey/grape. Gorgeous shine and bursts of color. Love the easy to use applicator. Generous amount of powder to last a long, long time. I wish this had more stars!
I have quite a few of these powders but just received the pewter color. I played with them on art paper today and this is just beautiful. Very versatile for scrapbooks and card making.
