This enquiry comprises of engineering, design, manufacture, inspection and testing at manufacturers works, packing and forwarding, delivery to site, unloading from carriers / wagons, storing at site, transport to erection site, erection, testing and commissioning at site, carrying out performance / acceptance test of 1 x 100 MW rating Hydraulic Turbine Generator set, Main inlet valve and Auxiliaries, 220 kV Switchyard, BFV at valve house and other Electro Mechanical equipments as specified. Comprehensive insurance shall be provided till the unit is handed over. The Bidder shall visit the site and acquaint themselves thoroughly with the site conditions. It is not the intent to specify completely herein all details of design and construction of equipment. However, the equipment shall conform in all respects to high standards of engineering, design and workmanship and be capable of performing continuous commercial operation in a manner acceptable to the Purchaser, who will interpret the meaning of drawings and specifications and shall have the power to reject any work which in his judgement is not in full accordance therewith. The extent of supply and works under this contract includes all items indicated in the specification, notwithstanding the fact that such items may have been omitted from the drawings or schedules. Similarly, the extent of supply also includes all items mentioned in the drawings notwithstanding the fact that such items may have been omitted in the specifications and / or schedules. All equipment shall be new and of make as specified in the specification. The bought out equipments for which the makes are not specified shall be of reputed make and shall be subject to approval by the Purchaser after award of Contract. Bidder shall furnish all the information called for and all filled in formats, Data Sheet - B and the various other schedules of specification. The Bidder shall furnish the schedule of drawing submission for all the equipments indicating the dates for submission for each of the drawing / document after award of contract. The list of drawings to be submitted after award of contract is covered under Data sheet C of respective sections of each system / equipment.

For the equipment offered, all deviations from the specification shall be clearly listed in the Schedule of Deviations. If no deviations are indicated, it will be presumed that the offer conforms to the specifications in all respects. Bidder shall furnish price for start-up and essential spares listed in section C33 and other data sheets and their respective specification. In addition, the Bidder shall furnish a list of recommended spare parts with the unit price of each spare part, which, in his opinion, is necessary for the trouble free operation of the equipment for a period of 5 years.
