Themes: Autism Month (We ALL have differing abilities!), Lets get Physical !, Signs of Spring Concepts: Math (Division/Multiplication together, Decimals), Mental Math (Subtraction), Language Arts (Creative Writing Continued, Novel Study, Because of Winn-Dixie), Social Studies (The many Cultures of Nova Scotia), Science (Exploring Soil), Health (Strategies for Healthy Living), Art (Cultural and Historical influences in art by Pablo Picasso (Cubism with Pastel) and Claude Monet (Water Lilies with Tissue).

Requests: 1. Provide a full bottle of water for your child each day. 2. Keep signing agendas and writing in minutes for our reading Across Canada Program. 3. Bikes, skate board and scooter can be used to get to school but not on school grounds.
ALERT: Bedford South is a nut, latex, and egg aware school. We have students and staff members who have life-threatening allergies. Contact with nuts, latex, and/or eggs could be fatal for them.
