Basketball Play Strategies Guide

This document summarizes a basketball play called "Fist 2/3 Double Elevator 2/3". The play starts in a double low stack set with the 2 and 3 players popping to the wings. The 4 and 5 players will flash up behind them. Player 1 will pass to 5 at the elbow, who will pass to 3 for a backdoor layup. If 3 is not open, 5 will pass to 1 coming off a flare screen. 1 can shoot an open 3-pointer. Alternatively, 1 can fake a drive and freeze the defender while 2 sprints for an open 3 off an elevator screen. 1 also has the option to drive hard to the basket while the defenders are concerned with the elevator action.
