Make sure you understand what each of your words mean theres no point learning to spell them if you dont understand what they mean! Look them up in a dictionary if youre not sure what they mean!

LOOK at the word think about its shape! SAY the word how is it pronounced? Say the letters out loud too! Break it into smaller sections, eg: Wed-nes-day. COVER the word can you remember its shape, the letters and the parts you broke it into? WRITE the word will you get it right? CHECK the word can you write it correctly? Once youve finished, correct any mistakes.
Repeat this method each day and become a super-speller!
