conventions have their place in the process, they can be restrictive when

They arent opposed to taking risks or testing solutions that are off-thewall or that dont have a proven track record. Although theres
generally nothing wrong with taking a more practical approach to
problems (and in some cases, it may be the best option), using it as the
only method does impose some limitations. By taking that step outside
your standard way of thinking and expanding your imagination, youll not
only be able to increase your options but may end up uncovering ideas
