Rajasthan On MDG

Rajasthan has made progress toward achieving several MDG indicators: 1. Poverty rates decreased from 38.3% to 14.71% and literacy rates increased from 60.4% to 67.06% 2. Enrollment in primary education increased with gross enrollment rising from 117.1 to 101.5 and net enrollment from 83 to 79.5 3. Gender indicators showed improvement with the child sex ratio increasing from 921 to 926 girls per 1000 boys and the percentage of women married below 18 decreasing from 49.4 to 14.3
