The kindergarten teachers have designated certain days in September as "Color Days" to coincide with themes they are covering in class. Students are encouraged to wear the color of the day to school, such as brown on September 14th for "Brown Day". The schedule provides the color for each Monday through the following month. Parents are asked to help children select outfits incorporating the designated shades without needing new purchases.

Dear Kindergarten Families,

In conjunction with our color theme and the favorite childrens story Brown
Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, the kindergarten teachers have
designated certain days throughout the month of September as Color
Days. We will kick things off next week, Monday, September 14 th with
Brown Day. Please refer to the calendar below for additional Color Days.
As your child chooses his/her apparel for school, please see if you can
incorporate the days color into their shirt, shoes, headband, etc. Have fun
with it! Please dont feel the need to purchase anything new. If youve got it,
wear it!
