Farm Field Day Evaluation

Dear Participant,
On behalf of Utah State University Extension, the Utah Farm Bureau, the Utah Association of Conservation Districts, and all the other agricultural groups involved, we want to thank you for your participation in
our Farm Field Day. We plan to continue this activity on an annual basis. We want the field day to be fun
for students, useful to teachers and informative for all. Please help us by taking a few moments to share
your views and suggestions.
1. In what ways did the Farm Field Day meet your expectations?
2. Please identify ways that we could make the activity more useful to you and your class.
3. Our basic purpose was to help students understand that agriculture is part of their
everyday livesfrom the food they eat to many of the clothes they wear and more. On
a scale from 1 to 5, how well did we accomplish that goal?
(1=not at all, 3=good effort, 5=extremely well)

4. On a scale from 1 to 5, how does the Farm Field Day compare to other away from
school activities?
(1=not nearly as good, 3=about average, 5=among the best)

5. In your judgment, how much did your students enjoy the Farm Field Day?
(1=didnt like it, 3=liked it as much as most other field trips, 5=perhaps the most fun)

6. Will you use the teacher resources provided by Utah Agriculture in the Classroom
program?
