OPPOSITION SENATORS VISIT TRILLANES
MANILA, Philippines -- Senators allied with the opposition have visited Senator Antonio Trillanes IV,
who was detained after leading an uprising at the Manila Peninsula Hotel in Makati City on November
29.
As of posting time, Senators Panfilo Lacson and Aquilino Pimentel Jr. have been allowed to enter the
highly secured custodial center at the Camp Crame national police headquarters.
Police officials had said previously that only members of Trillanes immediate family and lawyers were
allowed to visit him.

DESPITE OF BAD WEATHER CONDITION, 600 JOURNALIST ATTED THE DSPC 2010
Despite early warnings on the onslaught of a super typhoon, some 600 student journalist
from all over the province attended the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) in Bontoc,
Mountain Province on October 18-19, 2010.
Two hundred seventy-eight elementary pupils and 348 secondary students joined the annual
writing tilt with hopes of qualifying for the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) which
will be held first week of December.
Amidst heavy rainfall and strong winds brought by typhoon Juan, the student journalist
competed in news writing, feature writing, editorial writing, editorial cartooning, sports
writing, copy reading and headline writing, photojournalism and radio broadcasting, both in
English ans Filipino media.
