Your Assignment: Take a digital roll of images (at least 20 images) that use
photographic composition techniques to create a more interesting and
successful photograph.
At least 4 photographs to represent each term (20 images total)
Rule of Thirds
Depth of Field
Compositional Framing
Simplicity
Keep in mind some of the basics of photography:

Try Different POINTS-OF-VIEW (the same thing might be more interesting if you look
at it from an unusual point of view!)
Turn off the flash! (Until you know how to control it, DONT USE IT! Its EVIL!)
Take more pictures than you need! Its freeeeeeeee

FAMILY, anyone that will listen)

Email the images to yourself BEFORE you arrive to class

If you used a real camera:


1. Bring your memory card with you to class so we can transfer the images to the H:/ drive

2. Transfer your images to a flash drive prior to coming to class, and bring that with you on the
due date.
