Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the INDO-
GGERMAN Project entitled “Novel Strategies to Combat Leishmaniasis” on purely
temporary basis for a period of one year with effect from the date of appointment under the
Principal Investigator Dr. Pradeep Das, Director. Candidates may apply mentioning 1. Name, 2.
Father’s Name, 3. Date of Birth, 4. Qualification, 5. Work Experience, 6. Present Address for
Communication, supported with original certificate in proof of date of Birth, educational
qualification, work experience etc. with Xerox copies thereof along with a passport size
photograph for the above mentioned post. Interested candidates those who are possessing
desiered qualification and experience as shown below may turn up for interview/personal
discussion in the Institute Premises on 1st June, 2010 at 10:00 AM.
Junior Research Fellow – one post
i. Name of the Post : Junior Research Fellow
ii. Salary : 12000 pm + HRA (as per rules)
iii. Essential Qualification : M.Sc. 1st Class in any branches of Life Sciences with
ICMR/DBT/CSIR (JRF/LS) NET qualification
iv. Age as on (1st June, 2010) : 18-28 years (age relaxation as per rule)
NOTE:
1. The post is for an external sponsored project undertaken by the Institute/Principal Investigator and no
claim in future for employment under the ICMR/Institute shall be tenable.
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview.
3. Appointment will be on a contractual basis for a period as mentioned or closure of project whichever is
earlier.
4. During the appointment if the performance of the appointee is not found satisfactory by the
investigator, appointment can be terminated in any time without any notice.
