Introduction
I Nithin Joseph of section C, PGDM 2010-12 conducted field work on Reliance
Fresh at secouderabad. For the purpose of collecting information about the job
training of the particular shop. The work conducted 30th dec- 2010.This Field work
was very informative and knowledge driven. I can understanding more things
about job traininig.
In this field indicated that each every organization conducted job training to the
employees for the purpose improve the overall efficiency of the employees and
given knowledge and information about their works. This will bring experts and
higher productivity.
In the case of Reliance Fresh given planned more training process. So for the new
employees induction training, Refresher training, internship traing etc.basically to
methods are using on job training and off job training.
My contribution
In this field work indicated more job training process. Reliance Fresh is an
organization given so many job training to their employees. Especially give the on
job training and off job training. In the case of reliance fresh give periodically
training to employees. Every end of the year the organization allows the training
process. So the main befits of this annual training process discuss the new
technology and study the new technologies and methods. The Reliance Fresh is the
consumer’s stores. This store gives the consumable goods like vegetables, sweets,
bakery items, health care products, detergents, soaps etc. The following trannings
are given by the Reliance fresh,
Technical Training
In this particular training says that the company given the technical knowledge to
the employees.Techinical knowledge means use computer system, billing system,
vegetable cooling system etc.
Human relation training
Human relation training indicated the how to manage the consumers, How to
behaves. In this training company give personality development training,
Behavioral training, Internship traniing etc.
Induction training
Induction training means that the training given the new employees. When a new
person is joined in the firm. The management gives in induction ship training. So
that company gives basic knowledge of the job, about the company etc
Safety Training
Safety training means the training gives to the employees against the protection of
electronic equipments, training against the theft, malpractices, robbery etc
Reliance fresh basically choose two methods that are on job
training and off job training.
On job training
In this case the company gives training at the job time. So training about the safety
is the best example. This training given at the job time. In this method using one
strategies are rotate the job and. Advise to employees. This training process given
the practical awareness and knowledge.
Off the job training
This method indicates the class room study and annual training process. The main
features of this training is it is theoretically in manner. The classical example of
this is personality development training.
Book review
Job training is the process of increasing efficiency of employees and they will
become expertise. Firstly we understanding what is training. It is the process of
imparting knowledge and skill to the employee selected. Training is an organized
activity to impart new knowledge and skill to cope with the changes. It is the
continues process because there is no end to learning. According to Dale.S.Beach
“The organized procedure in which people learn knowledge and skill for a definite
purpose. The main objectives of the job training are to increase knowledge of
workers in doing specific work , to impart new skill to workers to cope with
changes in technology and to improve overall efficiency of workers.
There are several type of job training in the organizations. That are

3. Training for performance
4. Refresher training
5. Apprenticeship Training
6. Internship training
7. Safety Training

This training process for new employees. When new employee joined in the
organization at that time given this type of training.
Job training
Job training is given to the worker to the make him an expert in performing a
particular work.
Training for promotions
Promotion involves significant changes in the duties and responsibilities of the
employees
Refresher training
The basic purpose of refresher training is to acquaint the existing employees with
latest methods and knowledge.
Apprenticeship training
This training is intended to impart knowledge or skill in doing a trade or craft.
Internship Training
Internship training is given to employees of the organization with the co-
operations of technical institutes.
Safety training
Its purpose is to create safety consciousness among the employees.

.Employee training at the place of work while he or she is doing the actual job.
Usually a professional trainer (or sometimes an experienced employee) serves as
the course instructor, and employs the principles of learning (participation,
repetition, relevance, transference, and feedback) often supported by formal
classroom training. See also off the job training.
Under this system, the worker is given training at the work place by his immediate
superior.
Off the job training
Employee training at a site away from the actual work environment. It often
utilizes lectures, case studies, role playing, simulation, etc. See also on the job
training. Here worker is required to undergo training in a place away from his work
place.
Conclusion
In this Field work I can understood more things about the job training in the
oraganiastions.In an organization job training is the essential things. So job training
is provide the better management of the production. It improve the effocency and
ability of the employees. In modern business organization provide the training to
the employees. That is improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the employees
as well as organizations.
