Queen Victoria’s Life
 Queen Victoria was born on May 24, 1819 at
Kensington Palace in London.
 Her parents were Prince Edward, Duke of Kent
and Strathearn, and his wife, Princess Victoria
of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld.
 On June 20, 1837, Queen Victoria became
Queen of the United Kingdom.
 On February 10, 1840, in the Chapel Royal of St.
James’s Palace in London, Queen Victoria
married her cousin, Prince Albert of Saxe-
Coburg and Gotha.
Queen Victoria’s Life
 Victoria had nine children with Prince
Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha.
 Queen Victoria died from a cerebral
hemorrhage on January 22, 1901.
