German Cars
Germans have always had an eye for perfection and
excellence and these qualities show in their cars. The
Germans make great cars that people here in the states use
every day. They are sleek and magnificent with a classic
beauty. Porsche is probably the most elegant where as
Volkswagen is the family car but no matter where you look
or what you look at German cars always are dependable and
sleek. These cars are some of the best in the world because

History of VW
Volkswagen came to be during WWII when Hitler
ordered Ferdinand Porsche to construct a new “car for the
people” and the history of the VW started. Hitler had a few
specific guidelines for the car because he wanted it to be new
like the era he wanted to create. He wanted the engine in the
rear, a cheap price, cruising speed of 100 km/h, and to be very
round. When an American reporter saw the creation he thought
it looked like an insect so the beetle was born. The car sold well
and Porsche funded the new cars and Volkswagen cars were
born. The cars continued to sell and eventually were massed
produced and exported.
How other German Cars came to
be
Many other car companies are in Germany
but there are not as historically awing as VW s’
start. Many though just started with one man in a
garage and worked his way up to the top by slowly
making classic cars. It started with an inventor
named Gottlieb Daimler who in 1885 invented a
gas engine that revolutionized the car. This gave
car inventers like Rohr to do what they do best.
