The Orientation Programme enables students to consult with members of the academic staff to complete their enrolments; finalise housing, banking and health cover arrangements; familiarise themselves with the campus and the city of Perth and enjoy meeting other colleagues and students prior to the semester commencement. All students are expected to attend. Formal lectures and tutorials commence on Monday 3 March 2008. The fee for the course is $23,000 (Australian) per year for the required four years duration of the course. Additional years of enrolment, with the exception of an invitational Honours year, will be subject to the fee applicable for new enrolments that year. 2, The course fee is payable as a lump sum and is to be paid in two instalments on a semester basis. The annual course fee is not payable on a proportionate basis other than in exceptional circumstances approved by the Director of the International Centre (e.g. re-enrolling in repeat units after the minimum duration of the course). 3. The first semester fees (half of the annual course fee mentioned above) shall be paid to The University of Western Australia upon accepting this offer. In subsequent years of re-enrolment, semester fees are to be paid no later than the first day of each semester. 4. | understand that if | become an Australian permanent resident prior to my enrolment this offer of admission as an international student becomes null and void.
