Water Softener Calculations

The document summarizes the water requirements and equipment selection for a laundry facility. It calculates that the daily water usage is 80560 liters based on a flow rate of 10070 liters/hour over an 8 hour work day. It then determines that a water softener with an exchange capacity of 90,000 grains and 50 GPM flow rate is needed based on the daily water usage of 21282 gallons and hardness level of the fresh water supply.
