RESPONSIBILITIES Supervisor to ensure:
All activities are to be carried out correctly and safely.
Supervision and periodic monitoring of the task.
TBTs (Tool Box Talk) prior to the start of the task.
Reporting of any emergencies/incident/near misses.
Safe work procedures are followed with appropriate use select approved PPE.
Operative must have to read and understand the risk assessment or
supervisor has to brief operative to ensure operative understand the risk
involved in activities.
Operatives to check the work area to ensure that the work area is safe to
work in avoiding slips/trips and fall.
PTW to be obtained prior to the start of the task by an authorized person.
KEY TOOLS & Common hand tools, AC/DC clamp meter, Hand tool

Method of work. Obtain necessary permit if necessary.
The supervisor should give toolbox talk on the task.
Inspect mechanical & physical condition.
Confirm components are as per drawing.
Check-up the mechanical On/Off operation of all MCCB,s.
Check-up the other additional/ parallel operating controls for breakers.
Start the emergency generator in manual mode.
Check the On/Off operation of MCCB (in ATS circuit) electrically.
Observe the external status indication lamp for the operation of the breaker.
Check the all interlock and selection as per schematic.
Switch-off the main power source (DEWA) MCCB/ACB for ATS.
Observe the load transfer to the emergency power source (generator).
Switch-on the main power source (DEWA) MCCB/ACB for ATS.
Observe the load transfer to the main power source (DEWA).
METHOD OF Normal access for the LV room.
ACCESS/EGRESS Normal access for generator room.
LICENSE/PERMENT/ Electric work permit.
CERTIFICATE Isolation work permit.
