AFFIDAVIT OF DESISTANCE
I, Sultan Yahya Jerry M. Tomawis, of legal age, married, and a resident of Saduc,
Marawi City, after having duly sworn in accordance with law hereby depose and state:

1.) That I am the complainant of a crime of Kidnapping for Ransom against Saidali
Lope Maute, Ali Lope Maute Alias “Lucky 9”, Saidamen Pascan, Kahar Lomondot
Ali, Diamla Dimnatang, Meraato Magarang Ali, Juwaida Dimacaling, Saidy
Decampong, Bashary Ibrahim, Ahmad Zaman, Usman Disalongan, Mohammad
Ali And Naim Sampao pending in prosecution office at Manila with docket number
NPS Docket No. XVI-INV-13D-00114;

2.) That after strict scrutiny and analysis of the incident, I have realized that there is
no proper basis to implicate respondent KAHAR LOMONDOT ALI whose real
name is QAHARRODIN LOMONDOT ALI in the such crime of since my child Henry
Khalid Tomawis, the kidnap victim, who saw all the culprit behind his kidnapping
did not identify said respondent as one of the suspect in such crime;

3.) That since I could not state with certainty and without doubt the liability of KAHAR
L. ALI whose real name is QAHARODDIN LOMONDOT ALI, in fairness to him, I
am permanently and formally desisting and withdrawing my complaint against the
KAHAR LOMONDOT ALI as embodied in the information;

4.) That I executed this affidavit voluntarily and with my own volition and with full
knowledge of its legal consequences and effects and finally I certify under oath
that I have voluntarily executed this instrument without threat and intimidation upon
my person.
