QUALITY ASSURANCE IN-CHARGE:

Is responsible and authorised for:

- Preparing quality plans, process plans and process flow charts


- Ensuring that inspection and testing is carried out at all stages (receiving,
in-process and final) in accordance with the quality plans, process plans
and documented procedures.
- Handling non-conforming products including rejection of nonconforming
materials and product. If necessary, stop production till appropriate action
is taken effectively to correct quality problem
- Ensuring that all materials and products bear clear indication of their
inspection and test status
- Release of material pending inspection (Ensuring ‘positive recall’)
- Deciding on release of material in ‘acceptance under deviation’ situation.
- Maintaining inspection records.(Job work inspection, dimensional
inspection. Heat chart, gear box inspection)
- Initiating requests for, and follow up on, corrective actions related to
product and process.
- Maintaining and ensuring calibration and/or validation of inspection,
measuring and testing equipment.
- Carrying out quality assessments of suppliers.
- Resolution of Customer complaints, returns through initiation and follow-up
of corrective actions
- For release of product through authorization on Works test Certificates /
Performance curves, packing list.
- For validation of rework report.
PRODUCTION- IN-CHARGE: (CNC, ASSEMBLY, MAINTENANCE)

Is responsible and authorised for:

- Production planning
- Execution of production plan ensuring achievement of production targets.
- Controlling and monitoring of product & process parameters during
processing.
- Maintain production related records (MRP reports, progress reports, short
supply dispatch register, pump register)
- Defining workmanship standards.(Work instructions)
- Maintaining production equipment, handling equipment as well as utilities
and tooling, fixtures, gauges and templates and maintaining related
records..
- For ensuring over all safety, fire prevention & proper work environment
conducive to maximisation of productivity
- Implementing measures to motivate personnel.
- Controlling further processing until any conditions likely to cause non-
conformities are rectified.
- Ensuring provision of product identification as well as inspection and test
status on products during in-process.
- Preservation of products during in-process.
- Dispatch of the final product to customer.
- Documenting and analysing trends in delivery related performance .
- Identifying opportunities for mistake proofing
- Ensuring on line checks .
- Ensure documentation of CAM report.
