NARRATIVE REPORT IN NDEP


JULY 2018
As an effective peer-based preventive education and information program to counter
the dangers and ill effects of drug abuse, the Board has institutionalized the BKD program in
order to enlist the participation of more in and out-of school youth, and eventually organize
them into a movement of young people who are catalysts within their peer groups in
advocating a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The NDEP is a comprehensive educational program,
which provides a holistic approach in preventing and eliminating the menace of drugs in the
country. The NDEP also enables all sectors to work collaboratively—with the school system as
the core—thereby unifying all sectoral endeavors. The Community is a wide ranging of
discipline which mostly requires a lot of knowledge about what’s goes on in a
community. This is usually understood incorporate fashion because a lot goes on in a
community this days. My thesis is “I remember to avoid first person. wonder why kids
think it’s good to do drugs or sell them when they know it is wrong in the first place.
People believe it’s cool to sell drugs because they see people with nice car and jewelry
which make them think wow I can do the same thing as they does and be live like them.
It’s a lot of people who don’t do drugs and planned on keep it like that even though
some of their family might be doing it which in their heart they feel it’s wrong.
Everybody in the world should know drugs in danger it can leader to death or violence
between gangs or people who sales drug in the world”.
I plan to support my thesis by looking at different view from each side’s argument.
Many kids are affected by drugs in school, the street, and their community everyday.
As part of the orientation and introduction of harmful effects of substance abuse to every
human being, Tablon Elementary School conducted their election of new set of officers for
National Drug Education Program for the school year 2018-2019. The set of officers will serve
as school leaders that will promote and establish proper way of taking care of their body. The
activity started at 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon of July 25, 2018. Each set of classroom officers are
invited to join the said election that will be candidates to be chosen as new set of officers of
NDEP Club. Before the election, the NDEP Coordinator gathered the pupils of Tablon
elementary School from Grade four to six to inform them about the upcoming election of NDEP
Officers. Classroom officers are expected to participate in the said event. After the information
has been disseminated, the election of NDEP Club Officers was then, followed. The election of
officers was conducted at the grade 5 room.
