The Needed Love

According to Rodolfo Baking, it is indeed that love is one of the misused words in the
language of men that most people only see the value of love is something that can only pertain
to having a love towards the other person. In this case, I sometimes use love as a different
meaning in which the context pertains to how I perceive love in the context of my experiences in
a daily basis. Sometimes, love is something that is sacrificial in which how my parents would strive
to work hard for the basis of helping me and my brother to finish college and become successful
in life or even doing something for someone in a context of making that person happy, like giving
someone some flower, helping someone cross the street or even celebrating anniversaries
together with love ones. There are also times wherein love can be incline with hate in which doing
something bad for someone in the process of taking into consideration the outcome of the thing
that a person do just like how I was able to lie to my best friend that I’m fine with the way things
are especially that there are times that I can get insecure about things and she know the
experiences I’ve dealt with but the outcome of what I said would help her ease her mind that I am
really fine because of my lie.
In this case, love is something that can’t be justified with the way of just saying that love
is just a simply act of affection to another person but rather to the context of which that grows
from within and its surrounding. In my life, there are times wherein I don’t believe that there is a
person who would love me for who I am. I always thought that love is selfish, love is the growth
from within our inner desires and that it is something that can be use in a different meaning. When
I was a child, I never believe in God, I always thought that He doesn’t exit but at some point, as I
grow older, I talked to mom about my childhood especially when I was a baby. She said that when
I was a baby, I easily get sick and they always bring me to the hospital as if it was the only home
I have because of this sickness that can’t easily cured. They thought that I was going to die,
because of how my face turned pale and have a shade of purple. They thought that I was being
suffocated, as they try to find a good doctor, none of them can’t cured me until one day, there is
someone who said that there is a one person who could cured me, so they went to the said
location and prayed to God that this person would help me survive and a miracle happened. I was
able to get cured because of this person. As my mother told that story for me, I realize that love
is genuine, love is God because He help me survive and to live a full life today because He
answered my parent’s prayers. I was able to see the day of light, the beauty of the world because
of their love for me and their faithful devotion to God. It helped me realize that because of the
main attributes that came from God are the faith, hope and love.
Within these three, because of my parents love for me and faith in God, He bring my
parents hope to help me survive in which because of that, I appreciate more that love is the
greatest of them all because without love, there are no peace in this world, there won’t have any
harmony within us, humans and with love, it would bring the goodness of ourselves and the things
that hold us dear. So, I know that love is what bring forth the other good attributes of goodness
among ourselves and within the whole world. Because the love that we, humans received came
from the God himself because God is love and without Him, we are nothing.
So, for that fact, love really is indeed majestic. In this month of February, not only couples
would celebrate the month of love but with the love for others too. It is not bound to the love of
another person but also for the love of family, country, friends and relatives, for one self and love
of God. So, in this case, I celebrate this month of love for my family, friends, lover and with God.
