For both the admin systems, following tasks are done.
 Got the opportunity to work in the project since its inception
 Production Support: Analyze and fix the Production abends, complete the cycle on time & brings the online
region up well before the business starts.
 Business Work Request (BWR): Business raises an incident if any of the functionalities is failed to work as
designed. Upon receiving the BWR, starts analyzing the issue, recreates it in testing region, makes necessary
code changes, do the required testing and informed the business about the fix. Once the business provided
the sign off, implements the code into the production.
 Build new environment for testing
 Enhancement: Enhances the existing functionalities to meet the customers need.
 Automation : Automates the manual activities which were time consuming and also resulted in reducing the
chance of error.

Contribution:

 Responsible for making the production database up and running 24x7

 Production cycle issues need to be fixed within the timeframe.
 Automates the test cycle for reducing the manual efforts and cycle run time.
 Migrate the code changes to the testing region where business tests the code and provides the sign off if the
code fix is working fine.
 Generates & compare reports for both areas : User Testing and Production, which then passed on to business
for decision making.
 Automate 3 Adhoc tasks which are being done manually till now.
 Automates the CICS VSAM file creation and its allocation to respective online region whenever a new
testing region is assigned. Earlier it use to take around 1.5 to 2 hours for the whole process.

Project Description and Role: This Project is a Core Banking Project which is based on Relationship Management
(RM) application. It involves storing the Customer details and demographics. The purpose of this Project is to use
the Enterprise Banking Suite (EBS) version of Relationship Management (RM) in South-East Asian Countries (SEA)
and roll out to the other clusters and geographies in the Bank’s Rainbow & G2C versions.
The Project deals with the Production support for more than 20 Core Banking applications for the Bank. Apart from
supporting different applications, I have primarily supported 2 applications, Relationship Management (RM) &
Card Reference File (RF).

Major responsibilities include:

 Analyzing JCL/PRC/PRM/COBOL for Functional Changes
 Production Batch Support for more than 5 countries in scope for Core Banking Applications
