This study analyzed the relationship between public service motivation and doctor performance at the Taman Husada Regional General Hospital in Bontang, Indonesia in 2017. The study found a tendency for a relationship between public service motivation and its four dimensions - attraction to public policy making, commitment to public interest, compassion, and sacrifice - with doctor performance. The study recommended that hospital management improve service quality and communication between medical teams and patients to maintain doctor performance.

The research was conducted due to the low performance of


physicians in terms of timeliness and completeness of return medical
record file that does not comply with the Minimum Service Standards
No. 129 in 2008. This study aimed to determine the analysis
relationship of Public Service Motivation (PSM) and the performance of
doctors in General Hospital of Regional Taman Husada Bontang Year
20't7.

The type of reseach is a mixture (mixed methods) that combine


quantitative and qualitative methods. Population and sample in this
study were all doctors in hospital Taman Husada Bontang. The
collection of data in the form of questioners, interviews, review of
docurnents and observation. Conelation technique used was the
Pearson Produc{ moment conelation. Reability testing was peformed
by combach Alpha test.

The results of this study indicate that there was a tendency of


Public Service Motivation (PSM) relationship and its four dimensions
were Attraction To Public Policy Making, Commitment To Public
lnterst, Compassion and Sacrifice with physician perbrmance. Doctors
are motivated to commit to provide services to the community so as to
provide excellent service This commitment occurs as a form of
professional responsibility of doc{ors and their duty as a state servant
at the hospital.

It is recommended that the hospital management to improve the


quality of services provided and maintan good communication between
the medical team and patients with intensive interaction, polite and
make a good relationship with patient. And service as key to the
prac'tice of Public Servicn Motivation (PSM) at the hospital shoutd be a
top priority, Bo that people realty Eel the benefrts and continue to
maintain the performance of doctors with vengeance, responsibility,
professional and prioritizing four dimensions exist.

Kinerja Dokter Di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Taman Husada
Bontang Tahun 2017. (Dibimbing oleh A.lndahwaty Sidin dan
Sangkala)

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kinerja dokter


dalam hal ketepatan waktu pengembalian dan kelengkapan berkas
rekam medis yang tidak sesuai dengan Standar Pelayanan Minimum
No 129 Tahun 2008 di RSUD Taman Husada Bontang, Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui analisis Public Seruice Motivation
(PSM) dan kinerja dokter di RSUD Taman Husada Bontang Tahun
2017.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian campuran (mixed


methods) yang mengkombinasikan antara metode kuantitatif dan
kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh dokter di
RSUD Taman Husada Bontang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah
semua dokter di RSUD Taman Husada Bontang. Pengumpulan data
berupa kuisioner, u/€lwancata mendalam, telaah dokumen dan
observasi. Teknik korelasi yang digunakan adalah korelasi Pearson
Product Moment. Uji reliabilitas dilakukan dengan cara melakukan
uji Crcnbach Alpha.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada kecenderungan


hubungan Public Seruice Motivation (PSM) dan empat dimensinya
yaitu Attraction To Public Policy Making, Commitment To Public
lnterst, Compassion dan Sacrifice dengan kinerja dokter. Dokter
termotivasi untuk berkomitmen memberikan pelayanan kepada
masyarakat sehingga dapat memberikan pelayanan yang prima
Komitmen ini terjadi sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab profesi dokter
dan tugas mereka sebagai abdi negara di rumah sakit tersebut.

Disarankan agar pihak manajemen rumah sakit meningkatkan


kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan dan menjaga komunikasi yang
baik antara tim medis dan pasien dengan interaksi yang intensif,
lebih meningkatkan lagi pelayanan kepada pasien dengan ramah,
sopan serta melakukan hubungan baik dengan pasien. Serta
pelayanan sebagai kunci dalam mempraktekan Public Seruiee
Motivation (PsM) di rumah sakit harus menjadi prioritas utama,
sehingga masyarakat merasakan betul manfaatnya dan terus
mempertahankan kinerja dokter dengan sepenuh hati, tanggung
jawab, profesional serta mengedepankan empat dimensi yang ada
dalam PSM (Public Seruice Motivation)

Job satisfaction showed concordance between someone raised


expec{ations and rewards provided jobs. lncreased physician job
satisfaction is one measure of management to improve the quality of
services to patients.

This study aimed to determine the degree of correspondence


between importance and satistaction of doctors in hospitals Andi
Makkasau town of Pare Pare. And to determine the variables that take
priority in physician job satisfadion, this research using descriptive
exploratory research methods. Methods sample used total sampling of 52
respondents. Data were analyzed using lmportance Performance Analysis
(rPA).

The result shors the level of interest of doctors in hospitals Andi


Makkasau was high as well as the satisfaction level of doctors in hospitals
Andi Makkasau also quite high. Level of concordance between the
interests and job satisfaction of doctors in hospitals Andi Makkasau
excellent Pare Pare. Variable 'cooperative relationship between
individuals' and 'hospital tacility' has the highest level of
conformance.development Skr// was a top priority for hospitals to obtain
satisfaction of doctors in hospitals Andi Makkasau Pare-Pare.

Kepuasan kerja menunjukkan kesesuaian antara harapan


seseor€lng yang timbul dan imbalan yang disediakan pekerjaan.
Peningkatan kepuasan kerja dokter merupakan salah satu tolok ukur
manajemen untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kepada pasien.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tingkat kesesuaian


antara kepentingan dan kepuasan dokter di RSUD Andi Makkasau kota
Parepare. Serta menentukan variabel yang menjadi prioritas dalam
kepuasan kerja dokter , Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian
deskriptif eksploratif . Metode panarikan sampel sacara totat sampting
sebanyak 52 responden. Data dianalisis menggun akan lmpoftance
Performanc* Analysrs.

Hasilnya didapatkan Tingkat kepentingan dokter di RSUD Andi


Makkasau tergolong tinggi begitu juga dengan tingkat kepuasan dokter di
RSUD Andi Makkasau juga tergolong tinggi. Tingkat kesesuaian antara
kepentingan dan kepuasan kerja dokter di RSUD Andi Makkasau
Parepare sangat baik. Variabel 'hubungan kerjasama antarindividu, dan
'fasilitas rumah sakit' memiliki tingkat kesesuaian tertinggi.
Pengembangan sk// menjadi prioritas utama bagi rumah sakit untuk
memperoleh kepuasan dokter di RSUD Andi Makkasau parepare
