broader view of reality. Please watch the film, and make notes as needed.

  1) If we consider the Truman Show to be a representation of Plato’s
     Cave Allegory, who does Truman represent, and why? Please
     provide multiple pieces of support.
  2) What are Truman’s main struggles throughout the film? Offer
     arguments as to why these struggles would be difficult to overcome
  3) What are some of the other roles (Captor, Prisoner, Returning
     Philosopher) that are played by characters in the film? What are their
     motivations, and what evidence can you provide to show they are
     representative of different people in Plato’s Cave.
