SPIRAL WOUND GASKET

Description

Spiral Wound Gaskets come in a number of different


styles which offer outstanding sealing capabilities
within flanges. Withstands high pressures, heat and
seals against almost every known corrosive and toxic
media.

Style SI (Sealing Element with Inner Ring)


In accordance with ASME B16.20, Inner Rings are
mandatory for the following flange designations:

Class 900—NPS 24 to 48
Class 1500—NPS 12 to 24
Inner Ring
Class 2500— NPS 4 to 12
Sealing Element Inside Diameter And all PTFE filled SWG
Sealing Element Outside Diameter
ASME B16.20 does not include dimensions for
NPS 1/4, 3-1/2 or 4-1/2, or Class 400 flanges up to
NPS 3 and Class 900 flanges up to NPS 2-1/2.

Monel® Stainless Steel 304, 316, 321 PTFE

Titanium® Monel® Ceramic

Hastelloy® C276 Hastelloy® C276

Incoloy® 800, 825 Incoloy® 800, 825

Thickness available for spiral wound seal elements is 4.5


Thicknesses available for inner ring compression stop is 3.2

Note: All spiral wound gaskets are in accordance with ASME B16.20/B16.5 or manufactured on request.
