1 Scope
This Uhde standard (UN) applies to the design and construction of industrial and chemical plants. It contains
requirements about the design dimensions and weights of sheet liners for pipe clamps for uninsulated and
heat-insulated stainless steel piping. American Standards with metric dimensions are based for this sheet
liners.

4.3 Designation
For the designation of "sheet liners" according to ASTM A240/A240M, the thickness of sheet s, the width of
sheet B1 and the developed length shall be specified in addition to the part number (refer to Example 1).

Example 1: Sheet liner, part number OE0041A, thickness of sheet s = 0.3, width of sheet B 1 = 80,
developed length 74, is designated as follows:
OE0041A 0.3 / 80 / 74
