Motivation/Introductory Activity: Student remember the previous lesson they had
in their science class, science investigatory ( research class) & in their
interclasses.
TOPIC BANK:
Newton’s Law of Motion and other necessary words relevant to it.
Who is Isaac Newton?
Know the concept of Newton’s Law What are the three laws of motion and its meaning?
on Motion How can we trace the basic concept of motion?
Why these laws relevant to our day to day activities especially in traffic
rules?
Knowledge
Activity 1
Procedure: Journal Writing
1. Divide the class into 10 groups.
2. Each group will be given three minutes to think, gather, and write down
the words
3. Each group is given 1 minute to read their words to the class while other
taking down notes.
Lesson Questions:
How are our common everyday activities governed by Newton’s Laws of
Motion?
How are different types of forces related
FIRM UP (discussion; give examples; reinforce learning)
Goal: Acquire and Make Meaning
Activity 2: Concept Mapping
Procedure:
1. In 5 minutes let each group make a map as to how the flow of force Oral Recitation
created motion in a certain object/s?
2. Give each group 2 minutes to present their output.
3. Process students output.
