TERMINAL REPORT
I. TITLE: Daet 4-H Club Municipal Achievement and Recognition Day
II. DESCRIPTION: The revitalization and sustenance of 4-H Club has been the trust
of our government. Our government has 25 organized 4-H Clubs
within the municipality. These groups should not be organized as
physical group but more importantly they are and promote
community development. To realize this trust, the Local
Government Unit of Daet, through the Office of the Municipal
Agriculturist and Daet 4-H Club Municipal Federation had
conducted Daet 4-H Club Municipal Achievement and
Recognition Day.

VIII. RATIONALE
4-H Club is a global network of youth organizations founded on 1902 in United States.
It was established with the purpose of instructing rural youth in improved farming
practices. By 1970s, it is broadening its goals to cover a full range of youth, including
minorities, and a wide-range of life experiences. Today, 4-H Club’s activities are no
longer focused primarily on agricultural activities, instead, emphasizing personal
growth and lifelong preparation through experiential learning programs and positive
youth development approach.
As its primary advocacy, the Daet 4-H Club Municipal Federation, as one of the
recognized youth organization in the municipality, and as part of the Local Youth
Development Council, will be conducting its 4-H Club Municipal Achievement and
Recognition Day on February 7-8, 2019 at Daet Kalinangan Center, Brgy. Calasgasan,
Daet, Camarines Norte.

OBJECTIVES
General:
Produce potential young farmers who can contribute solutions to the
existing challenges of the country in agriculture;
Promote ideals on the existing opportunities in the agricultural sector ;
Specific:
Engage Daeteño youth in agricultural activities;
Establish good rapport among the 4-Hers through team-tasked
engagement.
DISCUSSION:
The Daet 4-H Club Municipal Federation, together with the Municipal Agriculture Office,
had conducted a 2-day Municipal Achievement and Recognition Day, last December 19-20,
2018, at Daet Kalinangan Center, Daet, Camarines Norte, with the theme: “Daet 4-H Club:
Awakening Youth’s Minds and Hearts on Agriculture.”
It was all started with the Opening Ceremony in a 4-Hers’ way-- having the Invocation,
reciting of the Flag Soliloquy, Salute to the Flag, Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, 4-H
Club’s Creed and Pledge, and then singing of the National Anthem. The welcoming of the
participants was given by then, Municipal Agriculturist, OIC, Ms. Edna S. Aguila, and was
followed by the discussion of camp overview and house rules, by Mrs. Nerissa Villaluz.
Participants were grouped into 8. Their first task was to create their own guidon that would
represent their team.
Camarines Norte 4-H Club Provincial Federation President, Mr. Reilan Leeboy Quibral,
Agri-tourism in the Philippines, as well as the Organic Agriculture.
Mr. Ricky Badiola, from the Municipality of San Lorenzo, Permaculture
Candle Lighting Ceremony with the supervision of the Provincial 4-H Club Coordinator,
Mrs. Celeste M. Salvanera and Irene Olivar, both from Office of the Provincial
Agriculturist.
The search for Ms. Daet 4-H Club 2018 having 2017 Ms. Heart, Mary Lou R. Abad, current
Brgy. Cobangbang SK Chairman, Alex T. Yasis, and Binibining Kadagatan, Monica L.
Ravis, as the board of judges.

Candidates for their production number, innovative gown, and lastly, the Q&A portion
where they got to pick topics concerning the youth, 4-H Club, and of course, agriculture.
The second day was started with the Zumba before having breakfast. It was followed with
the Amazing Race that seemed to be a farm immersion, somehow. The participants enjoyed
the whole new experience with the farm, making them engaged with different agricultural
activities.
Ms. Marilyn Puato, from OPAG, shared her knowledge about Mushroom Processing
Simultaneous competition occurred on the afternoon such: Farm Lay-out and Designing,
Edible Dish Making, Plaque Making, and 4-H Quiz Bee. As for the last part of the camp,
Awarding and Closing Ceremony took place. Staffs from the Municipal Agriculturist
Office were all present. Hon. Renato “Atoy” Moreno, Municipal Councilor, Chairman on
Agriculture, was also present, and gave his inspirational message among the 4-Hers.
Closing Message was given by the Municipal Federation President, Lloren Joy O. San
Agustin.
