Part 7 Divisions 3 and 4 of the Electoral Act 2017
Offence for false statement and disqualification
A false statement on this form is an indictable offence with a maximum penalty of five (5) years imprisonment. If you are elected and
convicted of that offence your seat will become vacant because of that conviction.

Declaration will be public


Your declaration will be made public on the New South Wales Electoral Commission website, and if you are elected, its accuracy will
be investigated by the Children’s Guardian including a criminal records check that will identify any offences or proceedings required
to be declared on this form and a report prepared and provided to the Presiding Officer of the House of Parliament to which you have
been elected. That report will then be made public.
