Colour Coding of Equipment

(As recommended by The British Institute of Cleaning Science)

At (insert company name here) we operate the industry recognised colour coding
procedure to avoid the danger of cross contamination.

This means that all of our equipment and cloths etc are colour coded and are ‘area
specific’.

Red – Sanitary appliances and washroom floors

Blue – General lower risk areas

Green – General food, kitchen and bar use

Yellow – Wash basins and other washroom surfaces
