PIPE STACKING
Store Pipe on the even surface of
concrete block, wooden dunnage above
6” on the floor.
Pipes ends should be covered and
protected with plastic or wood.
SS & CS pipes should be separated.
Minimum 3 meters gap to be provided
on all the sides between SS & CS pipe
storage place.
Pipes should be covered maximum
possible when original packing
removed.

Prevention & Action
Ensure during receipt from supplier pipes, flanges, valves, bolt and
nuts etc. received as per DEP standard.
Escalate to Supervisor’s, Buyer, Quality Inspectors, End Users &
Contractors of non conformance receipts immediately and take
appropriate action.
Long storage materials to be checked periodically and take action to
rectify the problems before it worsening.
Periodical Internal Q-Round will help to monitor, to take corrective
action which is in our limit, escalate and seek for end user / project
team support.
