Secondary educator with a passion for teaching mathematics and helping students reach their maximum potential.
Dedicated to helping students make real world connections to mathematics and surmount the hurdles of learning

EXPERIENCE
Intern
Intern at Gilmore J. Fisher Middle School for Mr. Breiner’s sixth grade Earth Science class and Mr. Peters’
eighth grade Physical Science class in spring of 2018.
Observation
Observed Mrs. Reil and Ms. Paterson’s co-taught third grade inclusion classroom, Mrs. Wheeler’s first to
third grade self-contained classroom for LLD students and Ms. Shields first to third grade resource room at
Wicoff Elementary School in December of 2018.
Intern
Intern at Ewing High School for Mrs. Wilkes’ ninth and tenth grade geometry classes in spring of 2019.
Developed creative lesson plans, assessed student work, participated in professional development and
collaborated in lesson development.
Tutor
Supplemental instructor for Rider University in fall 2017, spring 2018, fall 2018 and spring 2019, in which
I planned group review sessions and worked with students one on one in Math Skills Lab, Finite
Mathematics and Intermediate Algebra.

Mathematics Tutor for Rider University’s Student Support Services summer Mathematics program during
July of 2018.
Server
Server, hostess and bus person for C & G’s Country Cafe from May 2018 to present.
Babysitter
Babysit part time since 2012 and taught children valuable life skills as well as aided them in school work
and art projects.

Friday Night Fever
Volunteered at Children’s Specialized Hospital in Toms River, NJ since fall 2016, working with teenagers
with disabilities to help them improve their social skills and to help them make friends.

Attended a Special Education Conference at Monmouth Regional High School in Monmouth, NJ in April
2017 and learned useful techniques on how to better educate students with special needs.
Rider Edcamp
Attended an Educational Conference at Rider University in April 2017, 2018 and 2019. Learned
professional development skills and new educational techniques.

Attended art lessons since 2003, in which I learned to work with a multitude of medias and developed my
creative skills.
