INT. SMALL EMPTY ROOM
Michel is sitting down and looks like he has just woken up he looks
round looking confused and waits for something to happen. A man
dressed in a lab coat with some sort of papers opens the door and
walks in. He then shows one of the pieces of paper to Michael with
the words “you are Michael”.
MUSIC AND SFX
Music is playing from the start and is playing for this scene. There
is a slight blur throughout the scene ad text is showing up with the
credits followed by the title. When Michael starts to speak the
music stops or fades out.
Michael
My name is…
Lab coat
Your name is Michael you have just had some anti-psychotic tablets
and one of the side effects is slight amnesia do you remember
anything thing.
Michael
Slight…
Lab coat
sorry.
Michael
You said I had slight amnesia why did you add slight?
Lab coat
Oh, sorry well I was actually trying to make you feel better. (get
cut off)
Michael
(cuts lab coat off) Your lab coat why are you wearing a lab coat?
Lab coat
I’m not wearing a lab coat.
INT. SMALL EMPTY ROOM
The scene then cuts to lab coat just wearing normal clothes. There
is then an awkward silence until it is broken by Lab coat’s
impatience.
MUSIC AND SFX
As it is cutting there is heavy motion blur on lab coat.
Lab coat
I can’t be like this for ever so I’m going, I hope you remember.
Michael
Remember what?
INT. SMALL EMPTY ROOM
As Michael is saying his line, lab coat exits and then shuts the
door. Michaels visions goes blurry and a mysterious figure starts to
appear and as this happens Michael starts to look even more confused
and then goes up to try and touch the figure and just as he
is about to touch it, begins to talk.
MUSIC AND SFX
As he goes up to touch it there is this eerie sound and the
screen goes all blurry.

Hello, I’m not real, what’s your name?
Michael
My name, I feel like I should know this one. Let me think.
Not real
Well its nice to meet you Michael. (mutters under its breath) even
if you don’t know your name.
Michael
Nice to meet you too, Not real.
Not real
(giggles) I mean I guess you can call me that its your mind after
all. So em why are you here.
Michael
Yeah, I was wondering the same thing you got any ideas?
INT. SMALL EMPTY ROOM
As he is saying this the door flies open and lab coat enters with a
pot of pills.
MUSIC AND SFX
Lab coat walks through not real and there is cool effect.
Michael
Do you know this lab coat guy?
Not real
No and he doesn’t even wear a lab coat.
Michael
What did you want lab coat?
Lab coat
You seem to be talking to yourself so I’m going to have to give you
another pill so bottoms up.
INT. SMALL EMPTY ROOM
After taking the pill he, then black outs and we are put in his eye
for him blacking out and waking up and it is a repeat of the first
scene until when lab coat holds the piece of paper with his name he
snaps out of it.
MUSIC AND SFX
There is a heavy rgb split when he takes the pill.
Michael
Hang on lab coat, you’ve already said that!
Lab coat
Oh, so you remember.
Michael
What did I remember?
Lab coat
Well it seems like your getting better, so we should move on to the
next test.
INT. SMALL EMPTY ROOM
He gets a cookie out of nowhere and places it in the middle
of the room and then leaves the room with out a word being
spoken. Not real then shows up out of nowhere and goes to
eat the cookie while there speaking.
MUSIC AND SFX
Motion blur on not real.
Michael
Am I dreaming?
Not real
(while eating) I don’t know, ether way I’d be hear because I’m not
real and all. (Takes break to put down/finish cookie) try pinching
yourself.
INT. SMALL EMPTY ROOM
Michael pinches himself.
Michael
Oh well nothing happed so… (pause) I’ve decided I’m leaving do you
want to come.
Not real
(while eating another cookie she got out of nowhere) I guess I have
no choice but how are you going to get out.
Michael
I mean where did you get your cookie from, can I go there?
Not real
What?
Michael
Well I’ve been planning my escape since day…
Not real
(pause) so what’s the plan?
Michael
Well I mean I was thinking I could just walk out the front
door, I mean what even is past that door?
Not real
I don’t…
INT. SMALL EMPTY ROOM
Lab coat walks in and sees the cookie and looks confused.
Lab coat
Why didn’t you eat the cookie?
Michael
Because its no there. Can I leave now?
Lab coat
You can leave when you eat the cookie.
INT. SMALL EMPTY ROOM
Lab coat walks out and Not real disappears. Michael starts to hit
his head against the wall.
Michael
There’s a cookie, there’s a cookie, there’s a cookie, there’s a
cookie, there’s a cookie, there’s a cookie, there’s a cookie,
there’s a cookie, there’s a cookie.
MUSIC AND SFX
Slowly faded out the scene and voice of Michael. The scene goes
black for a while.
INT. SMALL EMPTY ROOM
Michael is sitting with his back to the wall and Not real appear,
she is about to say something but stops when she sees Michael sad
she just looks at with a feel bad face.
Michael
Right! Not real I have made my decision, I don’t care what lab coat
thinks I’m leaving.
Not real
Oh! Em… do you want a cookie for your travels?
Michael
Nope no time for that.
INT. SMALL EMPTY ROOM
Michael slaps the cookie out of not real’s hand and walks out the
door.
MUSIC AND SFX
Not real saying good bye is echoed.
Not real
Good bye.
INT. HALL
Michael walks through an empty hall looking confused he finally sees
the door and makes a break for it.
EXT. FIELD-DAY
Michael gets out side and starts to walk around.
Michael
I’m out, I’m free wow the out side is so much nicer than a
blank wall. Hey Not real what do you think of the outside?
(pause)Hey Not real is this another one of your games?
Could you come out? Its really nice. Not real… NOT REAL! Not real!
Not…
Not real
She’s gone (echo)
Michael
What do I do?
EXT. FIELD-DAY
Michael falls to the floor. The camera zooms out showing him all
alone. The scene fades to black.
MUSIC AND SFX
Sad music plays.
INT. HALL
Michael walks down the hall and hears foot steps he looks behind him
to see lab coat without a lab coat.
Lab coat
Did you eat the cookie?
Michael
where’s your lab coat?
INT. SMALL EMPTY ROOM
Scene match cuts into the room he is sat in the room.
Michael
Not real! Not real! Not real! Not
Not real appears
Not real
I heard you the first time.
Michael
Oh.
INT. SMALL EMPTY ROOM
Michael and not real are sat drinking tea and it then zooms out and
match cuts to show Michael on his own drinking tea and lab coat and
his boss watching him on a tv.
Boss
You think he’s better like this
Lab coat
I’m not sure what’s best for him.
MUSIC AND SFX
The into music plays and the scene fades out, credits play
END
