His fullname’s Michael Jeffrey Jordan.
Many people may know him. He was
born on Febuary the 17th 1963
brooklyn, new york, USA. He moved
to wilmington, north carolina when he
was toodler. His parents name are
James and Delores. He was the fourth
child from fifth child in his family. He
had 3 brothers and a sister. His brother’s name are Larry, James, and Deloris.
And he sister’s name is Roslyn.
When he was child, he played basketball and football. He has been ask
to play basketball from his brother Larry. He played with his brother and he
always lose. The defeat made him determined to become a basketball player.
He was expelled from the basketball team from Laney high school. He didn’t
give up. He made his perform better, many hours of practice in the field.
“Everytime i work, and i was tired. I thought i should stop. I’ll close my eyes
and see the list in the locker without my name on it” Jordan said.
He joined University of North Carolonia team. He enrolled in American
NCAA basketball league. And got schoolarship.
Michael Jordan became popular when he scores the game winning
points in the 1982 NCAA Campionship against Georgetown hoyas. He selected
the best basketball player college level in the season 1983 – 1984. And he led
the US men’s basketball team to reach the olympic gold medals at the
summer olympics in 1984 under coach Bobby Knight
He graduated from university and got into NBA (National Basketball
Accosiations) in 1984. He was selected by the third selection. The first pick was
Houston - Hakeem Olajuan. The second pick was Portland – Sambowie by
Chicago Bulls, a team that only won 28 games in the previous season.
In Chicago Bulls team, Michael Jordan began to play on October the
26th 1984. He managed to become a league star with the Chicago Bulls. With
the ability to perform dunks, he managed to become one of the top score in
the league, averaging 28.2 points he scores in a single game. Not only that, he
also crowned as Rookie of the year, and also played in ALL STAR’S team.
In 1991, Michael Jordan managed to bring the Chicago Bulls into NBA
champions for the first time. Ever since he joined the Chicago Bulls in 1984, the
new can win the NBA league in 1991. Not only once, but The Chicago Bulls
into Championship three consecutive times (1991, 1992, 1993).
After winning the NBA three times in a row. Michael Jordan decided to
retire from Basketball in 1993 – 1994 to persue a career in baseball. But he
returned to play basketball and join the Chicago Bulls in 1995.
With Chicago Bulls, Michael Jordan won the NBA 3 times in row (1996,
1997, 1998). In 1999, he decided to retire from basketball, but only 2 years he
retired in 2001 he returned to play basketball. He join the Washington
Wizards basketball team and Finally decided to retire from basketball in
2003 after 2 years with the Washington Wizards basketball team.
During his career in the basketball world, he has collected six NBA titles
and five times designated as MVP regular.
Post Retirement
After deciding to retire from basketball world, Michael Jordan become
a bussiness man. Besides listed as the owner of the Bob Cats, He was busy with
the bussiness of property and playing in the movie “Space Jam” (1996) with
the looney tunes cartoon characters.
Michael Jordan is a great basketball player that ever existed in the
world. He has proved it by winning the league several NBA with Chicago
Bulls and get the best player award.
