I want to use my broad working experience in research, development and production environments,
along with my educational background in Physics to start a career in the Oklahoma Aerospace
Industry.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS
 Programming in Java, Python experience

 Brain Analyzer, AFNI (EEG data and fMRI data analysis programs)

 Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

ENGINEERING BACKGROUND
 My extension software tools experience and Calculus/Physics training, translate well into
complex problem solving. My initial career interest was in Astrophysics.

WORK EXPERIENCE

DATA SCIENTIST – RESEARCHER – LAB MANAGER | Laureate Institute for Brain

Research | November 2017 – Present |

 Inputting and running scripts for fMRI neurofeedback protocols using python and a
python based program called AFNI. Made sure multiple computers were in communication
during scans.

 Analysis for fMRI data sets using GLM analysis

 Analysis for EEG data sets using Brain Analyzer. Created protocol for study that involved
setting up scan specific variables

 Inverse Independent Component Analysis for EEG data sets. Able to differentiate
between types of brain waves, MR scanner artifacts, Ballistic Cardio Artifacts

 Set up EEG fmri compatible caps on subjects, Oversaw other lab’s preliminary scans,
troubleshot in real time during scan
 Planned and set up weekly lab meetings, Helped PI produce materials for
Bioimaging class, utilized commands to create 3D images of the brain using scan images.

UPSTREAM MANUFACTURING ENGINEER | CYTOVANCE BIOLOGICS | JUNE 2015 – MAY 2017

 Led process management for the manufacture of phase 1 and phase 2 clinical trial drugs in a
GMP facility with a particular emphasis in upstream operations. Formulated buffers, media and
feed supplements for use in upstream operations. Led approximately 50 successful upstream
production runs featuring various clients with differing cell lines and production needs.
Experienced in aseptic technique and GMP practices. Experience working with bioreactors of
sizes ranges from 100L up to 500L, homogenizers, and centrifuges. Operated CIP and SIP
equipment such as bioreactors and homogenizers to ensure product sterility. Created and
reviewed batch records for GMP upstream production runs.

QUALITY CONTROL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN | LANDAUER RADIATION SCIENCES AND

SERVICES | AUGUST 2014 – MAY 2015
 Used various technologies and applications to ensure quality control and high
reliability packaging of sapphire crystals of aluminum oxide doped with carbon and
magnesium for neutron detection. Operated high precision instruments to test and
certify critical proprietary OSL dosimetry and confocal laser scanning microscopy
technology was fully functional and completely ready for US Government
applications.

PHYSICS LEARNING ASSISTANT TUTOR| JANUARY 2013- DECEMBER 2013

 Instructed Physics I students on coursework, problems, and reviews required to

help them be successful in the field of Physics.

ROBOTS4U INSTRUCTOR| JUNE 2013 - AUGUST 2013

 Instructed kids ages 7-14 on how to build robots. Guided young minds towards
building a better future.

RADIATION PHYSICS LABORATORY INTERN | JUNE 2012- AUGUST 2012

 Soldered and water proofed temperature sensors. Utilized LabView system to give a
numerical and graphical representation of the change of temperature when sensors were
placed in water.

 Collected and organized data for PHD student dissertations on radiation detection in
certain materials. Ionization trails from exited neutrons.

 Built working alpha particle detector.

COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE | MESOBIO | JANUARY 2012 – MARCH 2012

 Gave multiple investor presentations regarding the company mission and potential
commercialization. Gained public speaking experience and a better understanding of startup
culture and team building.
