This weekly journal entry from a student documents their filming work for their project. They discuss filming with actors according to their script and storyboards. Week Eight–Filming

FILMING

What practical work have you done I have been filming with my actors this week in Henley, my planning
this week - and how helpful was your has been useful as I have been able to refer back to scrips and
earlier planning? storyboards and also trykeep up with the production schedule I made
however I encountered problems filming at the beginning

How will this be useful to you as your This will be successful as it will allow me to refer back and make
production process continues sure that i am trying to use my script etc as a guidelines of the
shots i want and the places i want them to be.

What issues did you encounter whilst


out filming and how did you I didn’t encounter problems whilst filming fortunately however the
overcome them? weather wasn’t the best on the 7th of May when I was filming

How suitable do you feel your I feel like I chose the locations well and represent my production toon
locations were for your filming? well also I tried to choose a more rundown/working class areas to
expensive places as there are many stereotypes towards people that I
am aiming my production towards.

How have you made use of the I have been able to develop my skills in camera work as i have
technical skills you have developed so allowed myself to work independantly and learn for myself as i
far this year? have gone on in the process for example using tracking shots in
my video and or other different techniques.
