The throttle potentiometer (2 in the previous page) is located on the right hand operator console
and controls engine RPM.
When the throttle potentiometer is rotated to any position it increases or decreases engine rpm
and maintains engine at the programed RPM for that particular position on the dial.
• LO (Low idling) :
The engine speed reduces to the minimum at the position turned to the leftmost.
• HI (High idling) :
The engine speed rises to the maximum at the position turned to the rightmost.
This switch is used to switch the single flow and conflux hydraulic circuit.
• Symbol mark (two marks side) :
Select this side when carrying out the demolition work with the nibbler
which requires the conflux flow.
• Symbol mark (one mark side) :
Select this side when the restriction of the maximum flow rate is required
for the work with breaker, etc.
Located on the right hand control lever, this switch should only be used
for increasing break out force during digging.
The function will be active only in case of the following operations: Boom
up, Arm in and/or Bucket in.
As an option, on the right hand control panel it’s available this switch:
using it, the lifting force is increased in every operations.
Swing parking brake is usually locked. The swing parking brake is re-
leased in swing and arm-in operation.
When it cannot be unlocked due to trouble, turn toggle switch to “Release
lock” (unlock), and the parking brake is released. Then, move machine to
safe area immediately and contact our shop.
And return to toggle switch to “NORMAL” position in normal condition.

The function Auto Warm-up is automatically set by factory; when the engine coolant tempera-
ture is lower than 10 °C, automatically as soon as you start the engine, the display will show the
warning ‘WARM’ and the Auto Warm-up procedure will be performed in order to allow the war-
ming up of the engine and of the hydraulic system as follows:
1) engine running at 1050 rpm for 3 minutes without using the pumps
2) engine running at 1050 rpm for 3 minutes with the pumps at medium displacement
3) engine running at 1600 rpm for 5 minutes with the pumps at maximum displacement
4) engine running at 1600 rpm for 10 minutes with the pumps at maximum displacement and
the unloading valves closed (high pressure).
The complete procedure will last 21 minutes, but it can be interrupted in the following cases:
a) as soon as the operator moves any lever or pedal (the procedure will restart if the levers are
put in neutral for more than 10 seconds);
b) as soon as the engine coolant will reach 70 °C for at least 1 minute.
In any case, it’s possible for the operator to deactivate the Auto Warm-up.
In the following flow chart is described how to deactivate the function:
1) switch on the ignition key
2) press the select button
3) select ‘SWITCH STATUS’ and press select button again
4) select ‘OFF’ using the wiper/washer buttons ( , ) and confirm with the select button.

The items of error detected by mechatro controller self diagnosis function are stored in
mechatro controller and they are able to be indicated on the multi display as Trouble History.
When an error occurs, the mechatro controller stores in its memory the relevant error code and
the working hours.

                               No errors NO ERROR

3) Transmit trouble history data (One or many) and hour meter to gauge cluster.
	      • Hour meter and 4 failure data are displayed on screen.
	      • In case of more than 4 failure data, 4 data is displayed at a time for 10 seconds by
	        turns.
2) Press work mode change switch and buzzer stop switch simultaneously for 10 seconds or
more.
Note: all the stored items are erased. It is impossible to erase data partially.
In some particular cases, in the trouble history it is possible to find some error codes with the
starting letter ‘W’; these codes are not relevant to electrical faults of the machine, but only to
some warning.
In the table here below, you can find the list of all the Warnings that will store a code into the
Trouble history menu.
