That honor goes to Eric Kripke.
The creator grew
up watching TV shows as
Knightrider and The Dukes
Hazzard, so when the timecame to

write the pilot, he was desperate to get

a muscle car into the plot somehow. “A car is basically the modern day

equivalent of Roy Rogers’ horse Trigger,” elaborates Kripke during an

exclusive chat with The OfTicial Supernatural Magazine. “From the beginning-
we knew the show was basically a Western, but with monsters instead of
-gunslingers. And we knew that if we were going to make a Western, we
‘needed a horse. Or rather a muscle car. It was always our intention for the
car to become a third character, and I’m very gratified by the amount people
have taken to it.”

picked the first car I thought of. I happened

to be outside my house one day when I saw

disguise, but one that wants to help Sam rather
than hurt him. Sam. however, is not convinced
and goes to vanquish her, only for Ruby to play
her trump card. She can help Dean. .
