Naincy College of Nursing, Jeolikote Nainital: Every Blood Donor Is Life Saver

Naincy College of Nursing in Nainital organized a blood donation camp on May 2, 2019. A team of 2 doctors and technicians from a local hospital collected blood from staff, faculty, and students. The principal gave an opening speech about the importance of blood donation. A total of 35 blood units were collected. Each donor received a certificate of appreciation and refreshments. The event concluded with thanks to all who contributed to the important cause of saving lives.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP

DATED – 02/MAY / 2019

Every blood donor is life saver.

Donating Blood is noble deed. And same as last year , again a blood donation camp was organized by
NAINCY COLLEGE OF NURSING, JEOLIKOTE NAINITAL on 02-may 2019.

A team of 2 doctors ( Dr C.S Hyanki & Dr Usha Bhatt) , Counselors and technicians from
SSJ base hospital haldwani came for collection of blood . The event started with small speech of Prof S.
Hemalatha ( Principal NCON ) as she enlightened the students with her words. Administrative officer
Mr D.S. Sisodia , lecturer Ms Neha Bhatt , Ms Neha Joshi, and faculty members were also present at the
occasion.

The activity of blood donation was started by Staff of Naincy educational society & faculty of
NCON thereafter Other volunteers donors joined the event. There was an overwhelming response from
students and other donors a total of 35 units were collected in the camp. Some of the donors who could
not donate this time were assured for donation in the next camp. A Certificate of appreciation, donation
card, and refreshment was given to each donor as a token of gratitude . The event wind up by 2pm with
words of thankfulness from Dr C.S Hyanki to the college , Principal and donors for contributing in a
noble work which can save many lives.
