To whom it may concern:
My name is Laura Isiordia, I am a fourth grade teacher at Pioneer Elementary School, finishing
my 10th year in the classroom. It is with pleasure that I am writing this letter of recommendation
on behalf of JC Soto.
Over the years of teaching special education, I had the opportunity to supervise numerous
paraprofessionals. JC volunteered to help students with special needs over the summer. He
taught them sports and he exhibited kindness and a caring spirit to those that needed it so much.
During my supervision, he went above and beyond what he was asked to do. He was nurturing
and always made sure students were proud of their accomplishments, no matter how small. He
had a very positive attitude and energy, he helped the students get the confidence they needed.
The majority of our students had difficult behaviors, which he was able to handle well. He didn’t
panic at the sight of a tantrum or a random outburst. Instead, he was patient and let them know
they could do it. At all times our students were his priority and he made sure that their needs
were met regardless of the difficulty of the task. He is compassionate, hard-working, and a team
player. He exudes confidence in his tasks and is always willing to help those in need.
I highly recommend JC for any position he may pursue. I can assure you, he will exceed your
expectations. If you have any questions, I can be reached via email at lisiordia@weaverusd.org
or at 209-261-6393.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Isiordia
