َ ََرﺑﱠ َﻨﺎ ﺗ َ َﻘ ﱠﺒ ْﻞ ِﻣ ﱠﻨﺎ إِﻧﱠ َﻚ أ
ﻧﺖ
اﻟﺴ ِﻤﻴ ُﻊ اﻟْ َﻌﻠِﻴ ُﻢﱠ
Our Lord, accept from us. Surely You
are the all-Hearing, the all-Knowing
(AL BAQARAH : 127)

َرﺑﱠ َﻨﺎ َوا ْﺟ َﻌﻠْ َﻨﺎ ُﻣ ْﺴﻠِ َﻤ ْ ِني ﻟَ َﻚ َو ِﻣﻦ
ُذ ﱢرﻳﱠ ِﺘ َﻨﺎ أُ ﱠﻣ ًﺔ ﱡﻣ ْﺴﻠِ َﻤ ًﺔ ﻟﱠ َﻚ
Our Lord, make us submissive to You and
make from our progeny a nation
submissive to You
(AL BAQARAH : 128)

Dua of Prophet Yaqoub(as)
إِمنﱠ ﺎ أَﺷْ ﻜُﻮا ﺑَﺜﱢﻲ َو ُﺣ ْﺰين
إِ َﱃ اﻟﻠﱠ ِﻪ
I only complain of my pain in grief
to Allah
(YUSUF : 86)

أَﻧْ َﺖ َوﻟِ ﱢﻴﻲ ِﰲ اﻟ ﱡﺪﻧْﻴﺎ َو ْاﻵ ِﺧ َﺮ ِة ﺗَ َﻮﻓﱠﻨﻲ
ِﺎﻟﺼﺎﻟِﺤ َني ﱠ ﺑ ْﻨﻲﻘ ِ
ﺤ ْ ﻟَ ُﻣ ْﺴﻠِامً َو أ
You are my guardian in this world and the
hereafter, make me die as a muslim enjoin
me with the righteous
(YUSUF : 101)

َرﺑﱠ َﻨﺎ ا ْﻏ ِﻔ ْﺮ ﱄ َو ﻟِﻮاﻟِ َﺪ ﱠي َو ﻟِﻠْ ُﻤ ْﺆ ِﻣﻨ َني
ﺴﺎب
ُ ﺤِ ْﻳَ ْﻮ َم ﻳَﻘُﻮ ُم اﻟ
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and
the believers on the day when the
accounting is held
(IBRAHIM : 41)

َو ﻗُ ْﻞ َر ﱢب ا ْر َﺣ ْﻤ ُﻬام ﻛَام
ً َرﺑﱠﻴﺎين َﺻﻐريا
And say my Lord, have mercy on them just
as they raised me when I was small
(BANI ISRAEL : 24)

َرﺑﱠ َﻨﺂ َءاﺗِ َﻨﺎ ِﻣﻦ ﻟﱠ ُﺪ َﻧﻚ َر ْﺣ َﻤ ًﺔ
ً َو َﻫ ّﻴـِ ْء ﻟَ َﻨﺎ ِﻣ ْﻦ أَ ْﻣ ِﺮﻧَﺎ َرﺷَ ﺪا
Our Lord, grant us mercy from You and
give us guidance in our affairs
(KAHF : 10)

ًَوﻟَ ْﻢ أَﻛُﻦ ِﺑ ُﺪ َﻋﺂﺋِ َﻚ َر ﱢب ﺷَ ِﻘ ّﻴﺎ
And I have never been disappointed in
my prayer to You my Lord

اﴍ ْح ِﱃ َﺻ ْﺪرِى َ ْ َر ﱢب

make easy for me my task

ِ ﻧﺖ أَ ْر َﺣ ُﻢ اﻟ ﱠﺮ
اﺣ ِﻤ َني َ َاﻟﴬ َوأ
ﱡﱡ
And when Ayyub called out to his Lord
(saying) surely distress has touched me in
You are the most Merciful of the Mercifuls
(AL ANBIYAH : 83)

َ َأَن ﻵ إِﻟَ َﻪ إِ ﱠﻵ أ
ﻧﺖ ُﺳ ْﺒ َﺤﺎﻧَ َﻚ إِﻧّـِﻲ
ُﻨﺖ ِﻣ َﻦ اﻟﻈﱠﺎﻟِ ِﻤ َني
ُ ﻛ
There is no God but You, glory be to You
surely i was unjust (to myself)

ﲇ َو َﻋ َﲇ َواﻟِ َﺪ ﱠي َأَﻧْ َﻌ ْﻤ َﺖ َﻋ ﱠ
My Lord inspire me to thank You for Your
blessings with which You have blessed me
and my parents
