A bushing in the Developer Unit has been changed to prevent an abnormal noise from occurring.

Description of Symptom
In some cases, an abnormal noise (creaking noise) may occur in the bushing section of the
Toner Recovery Roller of the Developer Unit due to interference of a bushing.
The area indicated in the figure below may cause interference.
Countermeasure
To prevent the phenomenon described above from occurring, the shape of the bushing has been
changed as shown below.

e-STUDIO507: CEJD37753
Procedure to Apply the Countermeasure
If the phenomenon described above should occur on machines having a serial number produced
prior to the ones listed above, replace the pre-change bushing with a post-change one.
