Floor Drain
 • The minimum outlet size of a floor drain shall be 2 inches
 • Strainer or gate must be removable
 • Combined free area of the holes in the strainer (grate)
   must equal the size of the drain outlet.
 • Floor drain trap must be deep seal with 3 inches minimum
   trap seal.
 • Floor drains installed below ground level must be equipped
   with backwater valve.
