CAMPUS/SCHOOL DISCIPLINE
Discipline measures are employed by the Don Felix T. Lacson Memorial National High
School to correct erring students and for them not to repeat their mistakes, to
safeguard the name of the school, and to help in the progressive development of the
whole studentry.
1. Students must follow and obey the school rules and regulations.
2. Students must wear the prescribed school uniform with the school I.D. inside the
school campus.
3. Male students are required to sport the prescribed haircut and prohibited from
wearing earrings.
4. Students must observe punctuality in attending the flag ceremony and coming to
class everyday.
5. Students shall not be allowed to go out of the classroom/school campus during
class hour with valid reasons.
6. Students must shoe courtesy and respect to school administrators, teachers,
personnel, classmates/schoolmates and visitors at all times.
7. Students must observe silence during class hours and when passing near offices
and classrooms.
8. Students shall not bring or accompany an outsiders or friends to school
premises, rather students shall report the presence of outsiders to school
authorities to ensure the safety of other students.
9. No students is allowed to enter the campus on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
without a written permit from the adviser duly approved by the principal.
10. No visitors shall be allowed inside the campus during class hours, except for valid
reasons. Visitors should observe appropriate attire in visiting the school. In
emergency cases, visitors are directed to see the school principal for appropriate
action.
11. Students must wear decent clothes when entering the campus on occasions in
civilian attire. Wearing of shorts, sandos, sleeveless shirts and blouses, midribs,
mini skirts and slippers is strictly prohibited.
12. Schedule for the opening and closing of the school gate during school days are as
follows:
Opening --------------- 11:30 AM 3:30 PM
Closing --------------- 7:30 AM 12:30 PM
13. Students who commit offenses will be subjected to disciplinary actions as
sanctioned by the school.
14. Teachers/advisers shall have the right to impose appropriate and reasonable
disciplinary measures in case of offenses or infractions of good discipline.
15. Appropriate disciplinary actions will be meted to any students who commits any
of the following prohibited acts:
A. Improper/Incomplete Uniform
B. Sporting of unprescribed haircut/hairstyle (colored, dyed, totally
shaven scalp)-
C. Wearing of earring for male students and multiple earrings for female
students
D. Wearing of tattoo
E. School I.D. violation (tampering, without picture, wearing different
I.D.)
F. Jumping or climbing over the perimeter fence in going in and out of
the school premises.
G. Truancy, habitual tardiness, cutting of classes and absenteeism
H. Littering or non-observance of waste/garbage management
I. Loitering along the corridors while classes are going on
J. Habitual disregard of school rules and policies
K. Cheating
GRAVE OFFENSES:
A. Gross misconduct (acts of lasciviousness, exhibitionism and extreme
public display of affection) Scandalous display of affection such as
kissing, necking, petting.
B. Carrying and concealing of firearms or deadly weapons such as
knives, ice-picks, and handmade toy guns
C. Using, possessing and selling of prohibited drugs
D. Smoking inside the school premises
E. Coming to school under the influence of intoxicating drinks
F. Disseminating and viewing of pornographic materials Bringing of
pornography materials to school
G. Assaulting a teacher or school personnel, participating in school
strikes/demonstration (not sanctioned by DepEd), or inflicting injury
upon other students. Assaulting a teacher, disrespect or defiance of
authority
H. Fighting or acts of violence resulting to physical injury
I. Theft; shoplifting; stealing (in-campus/off-campus)
J. Stealing of things or cash items owned by the school, teachers or
other students
K. Forging/tampering of school records and documents;
misrepresentation
L. Vandalism, writing on or destroying school properties like chairs,
tables, windows, books, laboratory equipment and others.
M. Gambling or betting in any form of game
N. Conspiring with an outsider in any illegal act inside the campus
O. Gross indecency in speech or conduct of perennial behavior Use of
indecent language
P. Membership and participation in exclusive and unauthorized
organization such as fraternity, sorority, or gang group.
Q. Extortion/swindling
R. Bullying or peer abuse
S. Other acts considered malicious or undesirable that create scandal of
the moral integrity of the school.
